An automatic inline capping machine designed specifically for large containers and closures, with easy changeover and speeds up to 60 containers/min.

BellatRx Inc. introduces its Magna Capper, an automatic inline capping machine designed specifically for large containers and closures. It applies and torques closures onto large containers consistently at speeds up to 60 containers/min, with closure ranges of:

22 – 120mm closure range with elevator

15 – 63mm closure range with bowl

Up to 8" W. or 8" Ø x 16" H. container range

Featuring quick changeover with repeatable setups, the Magna Capper uses a sorting elevator to hold, unscramble, and feed caps to the cap application station. A heavy-duty bottle gating assembly feeds and clamps containers in place. Caps are applied in the cap application station, then released and fed to the servo cap torqueing station.

Constructed of stainless steel, anodized aluminum and approved plastics, the system features interlocked safety guarding to prevent injury and an operator friendly touchscreen HMI with on-screen set-up screens. The company reports that reject rates are typically 0.5% or less and that no cross-threaded or un-torqued containers leave the system.
